Final Exam
In a well organized essay of at least 7 pages in your exam booklet, discuss rupture
and/or continuity in 20" century British literature as understood from the texts we
read this semester. You must refer to (quote) either White Teeth or The End of the
Affair and one text from group A and one text from group B. Do not confuse this !!!
The groups are as follows:
Group A: Orwell essays. Auden poems, Endgame, The Code of the Woosters
Group B: Eliot poems and essays, Yeats poems. Mrs. Dalloway. The Good Soldier.
The Secret Agent
You may not substitute The Rainbow and you must refer to texts you have not written
about in previous assignments. Eliot is the exception, as per our discussion.
