HISTORY 243 FINAL EXAM Please explain 1) the importance of each event in changing the face of politics in the Middle East and 2) how the three events are linked. (These links may be causal, but they are not necessarily.) In other words, from the three events, construct a story of political change in the Middle East in the twentieth century. For example, these three events, though they all involve oil, had a huge impact on political change in the Middle East as a whole. So do NOT use these three events to ONLY write about oil.
